ABOUT

The Future Arts Foundation is a federally recognized nonprofit organization. Our mission is to host concerts with a purpose. How do we accomplish this goal? We host the annual Bluebird Music Festival, a concert series, and other cultural events. Proceeds from these events provide Colorado schools with instruments and allow us to host free youth arts workshops to the children of Colorado teachers, first responders, and military members.

Bluebird Music Festival

The Bluebird Music Festival is a day long series of performances at the historic Macky Auditorium in Boulder.  this year it features Jim James, Gregory Alan Isakov, Langhorne Slim, Neyla Pekarek, and many more! The day is broken up into a main evening event and a family friendly afternoon event. Past performers include The Tallest Man on Earth, Langhorne Slim, Josiah Johnson of The Head & The Heart, Paper Bird, members of Yonder Mountain String Band, Elephant Revival, and many more.

Strings & Stories

Our Strings & Stories concert series will take place monthly at the Firehouse Art Center in Longmont, Colorado. The series will feature intimate, acoustic performances accompanied with tales of the songwriting process and a Q & A session with the audience. There will also be a series of concerts taking place in both Fort Collins and Colorado Springs. Proceeds from each concert will supply a local school with a needed instrument.

Youth Arts Workshops

FAF will offer free arts workshops to the children of local teachers, first-responders, and military members. Four workshops will be offered in 2019, and on a first come, first serve basis. Please visit the Youth Arts Workshop page for information and registration details.
